Vertical Line of EPSON LQ 310 Printer Settings Is Not Aligned

Epson LQ-310 Printer - Source amazon.in

There is a problem with my Epson print head alignment. when I tried to print out using EPSON LQ 310. The problem is vertical line is not perfectly adjusted and looked like this :

|                  |
    |                  |
|                  |
    |                  |

Let's assume that is wrong vertical line. We all know that perfect vertical line should have looked like this :

|           |
|           |
|           |
|           |

This is one of another annoying epson printer problems, but don't worry since there are is two workaround solutions to fix this. First, using bidirectional settings and using driver adjustment. But i recommend you to use bidirectional settings, since some driver isn't work so this method is the best way we can do.

How To Adjust Vertical Line of Epson LQ-310

  1. Make sure your LQ-310 have Continuous paper loaded. If you don't have any, you can use A4 or Letter but you will need it much;
  2. Make sure your printer is turned on;
  3. Now, turn off your printer by pressing the power button;
  4. Press and hold the pause button and turn on your printer. It will enable bidirectional setting and soon the printer will print something. Wait until it finished;
  5. After it finished, you now see some of vertical lines on it right? All you need to do first, is to see which vertical line is correctly adjusted.
  6. If you already pick which one, you need to set your printer. This is the important thing : You see there is dot in the printed paper right? That dot represent the lights on your printer. It has three lights on it, and you need to adjust the lights based on your selected option of vertical lines.
    For example : The perfect vertical lines settings is equal to three blinked light. Therefore, you should adjust it all to be blinked. It's that simple.
  7. To apply the configuration, press Tear Off/Bin. The printer will print some paper again and your job is to press the Tear Off/Bin until it is not printing any paper. In my previous case, i press it two times (First time it will print, i waited until it done and press it again, and it will be printed again for the second time, so i wait until it's done).
  8. After the second press, it will give you no response. That's the sign of configuration is saved. You may now proceed to turn off and then turn it on.
  9. Now try to print. If the problem still persist, here is the link to official website of EPSON's how to. If you really lost, don't hesitate to leave on comment below.
